John Galianoが手掛けるMaison Margielaが2020年秋冬コレクションを公開。今期の特徴としては、Replicaラインの概念を基に制作されたReciclaと呼ばれるLine。マリジェラのチームがフリーマーケットや中古品店などで服を調達し、縫製やパターンを忠実に再現、さらにはベースとなった服の一部が実際の商品の一部になるという。多くの服が大量生産され消費され問題となっている中でサステナブルの要素を前面に出さずともさらりと加えてくるところもまた同ブランドらしい表現となっている。また、Reebok Pump Furyとのコラボレーションブーツも大きな話題となりそうだ。下記よりコレクションをご覧頂きたい。

John Galiano ahas unveiled his Maison Margiela Autumn Winter 2020 collection. It features recicla line, the idea of this line is based on Replica line. Margiela team sourcing pieces from second-hand stores and flea markets and they recreate them right down to the weave of the fabric and each item’s stitch count.  Also these used pieces will be part of retail products. It consists of sustainable and hybrid clothes and signature tabi footwears. Check out coaction below.
