グローバルライフスタイルブランドUGG®と日本を拠点とするファッションブランドChildren of the discordance（チルドレン・オブ・ザ・ディスコーダンス）は、2022年秋冬に初となるコラボレーションの発売する。2018年東京ファッションアワードを受賞した日本人デザイナー志鎌氏は、UGG®の故郷であるアメリカ西部に敬意を表し、現代と歴史が同居するデザインをヒントに本コラボレーションを完成させた。
アメリカ西部へのオマージュを込めたこのコレクションは、フットウェア3型と手袋1型を展開。
大胆な刺繍デザインとChildren of the discordanceのシグネチャーメタルバッジを採用し、デザイナー志鎌氏のシグネチャーグラフィックスタイルを表現。耐久性のある軽量ソール、ソフトなスエード素材のアッパー、そしてUGG®ブランドのシグネチャーでもあるシープスキン素材とUGGplush™アップサイクルウールのライニングにより、UGG x COTD Classic Short（UGG x COTD クラシック ショート）ブーツに新しいテイストを取り入れ、その見た目と同じくらい快適な履き心地を実現。UGG x COTD Neumel（UGG x COTD ニューメル）はタッセル付きのレザーレース、UGG x COTD Kenton（UGG x COTD ケントン）は柔らかい折りたたみ可能なヒールが特徴の商品となっている。
UGG x COTD Gloves（UGG x COTDグローブ）は、手の甲と手のひら部分にコレクションのデザイン、手首部分にはChildren of the discordanceのメタルオーナメントが施されており、全天候に対応する暖かさの手袋。
2022年秋冬の「UGG x Children of the discordance」コレクションは、北米およびヨーロッパでの12月1日からの発売に先駆け、日本を含むアジア全域の一部の小売店で10月6日(木)より先行発売致します。日本では、UGG®銀座、大阪店、UGG®公式サイト（ https://bit.ly/3UHObiv ）、およびChildren of the discordance 取扱店舗にて発売。

The designer Hideaki Shikama pays homage to the UGG® homeland in the American West, with design cues that are equal parts the modern and historic. The four-style capsule draws inspiration from the evolution of the UGG® brand’s world-renowned Classic Boot. The Autumn/Winter 2022 UGG x Children of the Discordance collection will be available for purchase in select retail locations throughout Asia on October 6th, in China at October 15th and North America on Dec 1st.
Paying homage to the American West, the Collection features bold, embroidered designs, and a signature Children of the discordance metal badge to convey the designer’s signature graphic style. A durable, lightweight sole, soft suede upper, and signature sheepskin, UGGplush™ upcycled wool lining ensure this new take on iconic UGG x Children of the discordance Classic Boot feels as good as it looks. The UGG x Children of the discordance Neumel features tasseled leather laces, while the UGG x Children of the discordance Kenton features a soft collapsible heel.
